The quick and dirty is that no game coming out the the PS3 in the US is likely to spark the kind of sales that MGS4 did. No one was looking forward to R2 as much as even R&C. It's likely that with this holiday Microsoft may be able to put enough breathing room in the US to shift more focus to Europe where they are taking a thrashing outside of the UK. As for not mentioning games They really didn't mention any games though they showed a few for each console including Home. Personally Home is worthless if it's not integrated into the console. Optional bloat software doesn't usually sit well with most people and it's not something that I think many people will get into. Of course that's my opinion... I may or may not be wrong.
