That reminds me. At my school, there is this policy where you always have to be wearing your ID. Always. Well, during my freshman year, my sister was a senior, in the Top Ten, all sorts of academic awards, on the varsity tennis team, etc, etc. She forgot to bring in her ID for one day, and she got suspended for it. I personally saw people in the halls without their ID's, many of them bragging about the fact that they had lost theirs. So, I couldn't help but laugh at the stupidity of my school. "Lets suspend one of the top students in the school and let all those poor stupid kids get away with it." Ah, don't you just love the intelligence of the educational system?

They suspended you for been late to class more than 5 times. Bringing an electronic was far worst. They suspended you, called your parents(Highschool). They made you write an essay about why you'll never bring back an electronic to school. To top that off when they took custody of it you'd have to pay them 15 dollars to get it back, or your parents would have to come and pay 10 dollars.

At my school, we have an attendance policy where you can only have 6 unexcused absences from a class. (You start off with a detention for the first, and it gets progressively worse after the first one.) After that, you basically just failed the class. Even if you had an A, you wouldn't get any credit for it. Also, we can only call in three times a semester, after that, we need a doctor's note to get out of school for an excused absence.
