I think I overestimated how much better the game was going to run - I have an Athlon 64 6000+ and a Radeon 4850 and I still only seem to get fps of around 12-24 (on mainstream settings, even), the worst being in open environments with lots of enemies and such around. I might have to throw the quality settings down to minimal to get playable framerates during large firefights. I guess we'll see.
The game does look pretty cool, though - the beginning of the game was pretty awesome.
