...and I'm not talking of stuff they've done 10 years ago... I mean in recent times, and what they'll do in the near future. I might as well post some PC developers who have been strong:

Valve:
- Raised Steam under heavy criticism from gamers and disbelief from companies like Microsoft, and improved it into what is now 'home' of millions of PC gamers and leading Digital Distributor of Games.
- The Orange Box was an amazing deal and further helped Steam in getting acceptance.
- Great fanservice, with huge updates that keep Team Fortress 2 fans playing AND also gets more sales.

CD Projekt:
- Released The Witcher in 2007. This RPG went on to win over 90 awards and become 2007's RPG of the Year.
- Launched 'Good Old Games' (GOG.com), a digital distributor of exactly that: Good.Old.Games!
- Huge support for the fans, by releasing the updates of The Witcher's Enhanced Edition to the owners of the old versions... for Free!

Stardock:
- Released Galactic Civilizations 2, which made an 8-digit revenue when the game's budget was less than $1 million.
- Made some pretty good expansions, one of them (GC2: Twilight of the Arnor) was rated over 90% on Metacritic.
- Launched Impulse (Impulsedriven.com), which looks like it will give Steam some competition.

I guess those are the most obvious for the PC, but what about console devs?
