You get knocked down as you get up, because it takes so long to recover you recover right into his next attack and are unable to do anything except get knocked down again. i am so fucking angry right now, like its not even fun...am I glad this was a rental. At least in ninja gaiden (or any other game like this), despite the more challenging difficulty you can deal with a crowd of enemies and i know what eventually killed me on the end. In this f'n game...combos make you walk off a cliff and die I heard the wii version is supposed to be better control wise and maybe I should have rented that instead...but this 360 version (and the PS3 version) is complete shit. End of rant. PS. someone needs to write the following letter to lucasarts about this... Dear Lucasarts, The control in this game is complete crap. I'm cannot believe at how bad it is. Did you guys never play ninja gaiden? other stupid things: Combos that take you off a cliff. Boss fights where if you get knocked down you recover right into more damage without being able to react. yea after the demo i seriously rethought getting it. Was going to. Doubt i will now. Atleast not right away.
Another issue. If you want to throw something and you actually manage to select what you want to throw
you might incidently throw it in a completely different direction than that which you were aiming at.. what the hell ?
They ripped of dmc, gow etc but they did it in the worst way possible.
They took good controls and things that functioned.. and made them bad and unfunctional. Grats.
I do hope they patch it though. That would give me a bigger reason to get it.
