OK, a summary of this thread so far (as i see it)
Reasons why some current 360 owners won't buy a PS3 at the moment:
1 price
2 library
3 lack of backward compatibility with PS2 games (ps1 games work fine)
4 not interested in Blu-Ray
All these are very valid points.
Sony has not IMO done a very good job in marketing so far, Blu-Ray remains relatively unknown, the excellent interoperability with the PSP is also relatively unknown, the fact that it has an Internet browser (no matter how poor it is, at least it has one) is not widely known, and nor is it's ease of use and capability as a media server.
Also the ease of upgrading the HDD and backing up/restoring has not been hyped enough IMO.
All Sony seems to be focused on at the moment regarding the PS3 is it's slowly improving games library, and they really need to work on getting the news out there that it's not only a very capable games console, but it has other fantastic features too, if they want to convince more 360 owners to fork out the cash.
Also, it would be good if they addressed the 4 points above!
