Doubt there will be a price cut until next year. If Sony is able to keep up with the 360 despite being higher in price, why cut the price when it would cost the company more? Besides it's still the only company in the hardware race with a "last-gen" system still selling with decent numbers. I imagine sometime within the next 2 years, with a strategic combination of a price-cut, and the slowing demand for the PS2, the PS3 will see a steady but significant rise in sales.
