I am going to say one thing, and then leave because I don't want to troll...
The warranty is 3 years for RRoD, so don't worry that is the most common issue. The 30 Day covers everything. So if it overheats or the drive blows you are safe for 30 days, but if you get RR you are safe for 3 years.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.
