The more ps3's sell, the more mgs4 sells...at least until another game can lay claim to the title "best game on ps3" so I won't draw any conclusions yet. Also, the game is giong to be $60 in the west for a LONG time. Even good ol' resistance only just dropped. Add that to the possibility of future DLC and thats even more profit for Konami.
