Will the Xbox 360 have a 10 year lifecycle?

10 year lifecycle is a bit optimistic i think, but definately MS will keep the 360 around longer then the Original Xbox which was quite spectacularly killed off. I expect the new to come out around 2011, as the first one in next generation.
