Facts are 10 year plan wont be determined by Sony PR team, it will be other developers who today are using 360 as main developing platform. PS3 as a brand struggles to fight with the Wii in all regions, PS4 might offer something newer and fresh, because PS3 concept is not working well.

And i do agree only dominating consoles can maintain long life, the loosing companies need to change.

 

more than alright, it's selling better than the 360 at the same point in it's life.

Without the PS2's Christmas spike, it would be very close to the PS2 too.

concept does seem to be working well.

also, remember for Sony, they're probably still losing money per console sold, but they'd recoup some of that through PSN, Software and Blu-ray royalties.

OT: yup, I can definately see the PS3 going for 10 more years, possibly even new games coming out for it in 10-15 years.

The systems versatility will just keep improving as more and more devs get their heads around IBM/Sony's Beast-Baby
