Big game for Japan, will definitely help move HW here and a must have for any JRPG fan! I did read that Famitsu had re-confirmed that the date is still undecided tho. I would assume that this will be a big push from SONY come TGS. The preview playing here in Japan is fucking insain!
No, Japan does not celebrate xmas and the 24th/25 are just work days. Their xmas is over the 3 days of new year. For me, it is a very hard time to live here, as there are many decorations and songs playin', but no holiday, no food, no family, just a sad, fake, shallow feeling. What they do is soooo Japanese too. They have turned xmas into a romantic couples occasion for dating and seeing the pretty lights. The kids usually do get 1 "small" gift tho and on the 24th, not 25th.
Oh, and there are some christians here too, but generally the Japanese are not religious people.
