 Nintendo can release new hardware because of how much they've made this gen and the fact that their system is already outdated (specs-wise) this gen but

1. sony hasn't made the funds to follow suit.

2. if motion or whatever is the new way, such a controller can be released for ps3, it's not necessary to release entirely new hardware.

3. if they're releasing a control for ps3 in the near future, why is home taking it's sweet time and why the swarm of firmware updates?
