No, he's exactly right. He's just calling Sony out on their past foibles and saying, "if they promised here and didn't deliver, then how can we believe them now?"

Whereas Microsoft never promised a failure rate of under 15% with 360 consoles, so MS is all good because they never "promised" anything.

Plus, there are a lot of people in a company so the fact that different people have said different things on different topics doesn't mean that you can extrapolate it to, say, mean that KZ2 "won't deliver."  Why don't you and I agree to wait and see how that one goes, for instance?  Deal?

Now if you are a fanboy and want to portray Moore's comments as positively as possible, I could easily see someone offering reasoning like yours.
