why japanese gamers hate FPS games ?

On a serious note though, and more on topic, I watched a British Jason Statham movie (Bank Job, I think?) and found out that he was actually capable of making a good movie! It was so different than the stupid American Transporter films, the Bank Job actually had a half decent plot. 

So basically, American values that stemmed from manifest destiny and the wild west of just flexing muscles and using brute force to conquer whatever just doesn't mesh with a lot of the rest of the world. And for the most part, FPS games have those blow everything up values strongly integrated into what they are.
