America isn't doomed, Obama still has a good change at winning the nationa election.
McCain was a good candidate in the 2000 primaries, something that several people here are too young to remember. After McCain lost to George W. Bush because he was too indpendent, McCain changed everything about himself to better his chances of being elected in the next open election, 2008 (he couldnt run in 2004 Republican primaries against Bush).
McCain is a man that will stop at nothing to become president. He will do and say anything for power, even if it means turning on his morals and independent thinking of the past. You do not want somebody like that to be president.
