Frankly I'm getting tired of these threads, it's very simple.

Blu-ray looks better, sounds better, and IS better than DVD. Whether you want to admit it or not is your own problem.

And a 720p/1080i 42" is one of the worse HDTV's you could get, anything larger than 37" should be 1080p.

Also, how can you say "it looks like DVD" when you didnt view the same film on DVD? You fail.

It looks like most of the shit i have seen on DVD, simple as that. Ive seen like hundreds of DVDs and I know what to expect quality wise when watching/buying one.

You seem like you are one of the people that feel that I am someone purposely putting down Blu, and so are all my friends. I dont have anything against the format(as I said the black levels looked nice, also I dont have a good sound system so 5.1/7/1 dont matter to me), but its just not worth the money to have a slight upgrade in quality.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
