Sharing your opinion on my topic is not trolling and appreciated as it is nice to have different views for better discussion.  I have to agree that they have said all along that you wouldn't need a hardrive to play games on the 360 though for just about everything else you do need a hardrive.  Is a tough business and hard to keep everyone happy as SONY and even Nintendo have not always kept their promises.  Of the 17 people I know that have a 360 all but 1 bought the premium. The only one that got a core bought a hardrive about 3 months later.  He told me he bought the core as on impulse with a memory card to play dead rising but then later on he wanted to try out all the demos and play on live he went ahead and bougt the hardrive.  Basically if you still just have the core then yeah you may feel betrayed but I wouldn't be surprise if Microsoft lowers the price of the HD so it is not a big issue especially the core being such a minority.  At least right now if your a gamer you owe yourself to have at least a 360 or wii and if you can afford it the ps3 as it is going to be a fun holiday season :)
