Reading through the whole transcript, this is much ado about nothing.  The substance of her answers weren't changed.

 

You would have a point except that the Obama interview with O'Reilly was aired in its entirety unedited.

In any case the "thats politics" response is boring and predictable.  You'll note how some actually speak out when they disagree with things even when it doesn't suit their political agenda on that given day.  We call it principles.
