@ckmlb, that's kind of difficult to say, as Brave Story is a turn based RPG game, battles followed by random encounters and Jeanne d'Arc is a turn based strategy RPG game. I like the both of them. Jeanne d'Arc follows sort of the history of Jeanne with fiction included, with cell shaded graphics and Anime animation movies in between. Jeanne d'Arc has a few tricks in the battle system which makes it so nice to play, such as the Burning Site (extra powerful attacks), connection guard (linking different characters together for more defense) and the counter attacks. Brave Story I feel like it looks a bit like Kingdom Hearts, considering the certain characters in the game and slightly the story, plus combined with the system which is kind of familiar with Dragon Quest VIII. I recommend both as they're different from each other and if I'm not mistaken Jeanne d'Arc is not all too expensive in the US. It depends on what you like but if you like turn based RPG as well turn based Strategy games, I'd say... don't miss both of them!!! It's so far 2 of the best RPG's you'll get which are new and exclusive for the PSP. Both Japanese versions had great voice actings, don't know about the US versions though...

Both are typical Japanese RPG games. Although Brave Story feels that somewhat more considering the plot in the game.

Edit: Check gamerankings by the way. Brave Story has now a average score of 82% and Jeanne d'Arc almost the same with 83% although that game hasn't been released yet...
