Another good one you didn't mention, if you have any Upnp (universal plug and play) network hard drive or networked computer you can use it as a media server with the PS3 and stream tons of media types including divx movies! All you do is enable UPnP under settings, set up your network media server (look up a separate guide to that, it varies greatly how you do that depending on your OS) and the PS3 will auto connect to the video server under movies, music and photos. Just pick the movie you want to watch in tons of formats including MP4 and Divx and watch away. It's a great way to watch downloaded TV shows. You can also stream music and even copy it from the media server to the PS3. Just hit triangle and select copy just as you would if copying from the PS3 to a storage device.
