Which current generation console has the best controller?

the 360 main fault is the d pad, since i do not use fighting games that much not a real issue, but i woul like to get ahold of on of the revised controllers

 

You do make a point the d pad on the 360 is BAD

 

OK... I admit the D-pad is lacking a little, but I hardly ever use it.  Name a few games that use the d-pad only and not the left analog stick.  I cant think of any.

Most of the time it is just used to open up some menu or select a weapon.  In those cases you just touch it for a sec and go back to the analog stick.
