mandatory installs have been around for a long time for the ps3. people have been installing games, then simply removing the installs that they don't need anymore. you're never playing more than enough games at one time to fill up your hard drive, so you end up removing installs that you don't need anymore. which is as easy as switching on your ps3. so how could it be a problem? if you do play that many games at one time, then you have no life. it is annoying and a big bother, but it's nowhere near a problem.
