Posts about the PS3 would outsell the 360 if it sold for $299 are becoming tiring. It includes blu-ray and wi-fi (which is great) but it was designed to offer more at a higher cost. Of course it would be better value than the 360 if the retailed at the same price. The Wii is the only console to have cracked it. It remains the must buy console for the majority and is perceived as good value, whilst selling at considerably more profit than the 360 or the PS3. As someone else intimated; if all consoles retalied at a common price point, I think the Wii would still come out on top.
