Ok just an update: Today is 9/11 the price cut/60gb 360 intro. (IU release as well, as I picked up my copy today
)
Anyway, I went into the same stores shown above and they had 360's! Though in one the Arcade was sold out(you can see the red sticker in the corner of the Arcade).

The other store wasn't sold out, but going by the "cards" that they have(which you take up to the register) they had only 1 Arcade 360 as well as 2 Elites and a couple of 60gb 360's.
So it looks like the shortage is pretty much over and hopefully the 360 has a much bigger boost after last weeks ~1K sell through, hahaha.
