| Onyxmeth said: You're kidding right? White Knight is going to outsell Fable 2? All data points way in the other direction. I'll use our own data. Fable 2 sales=2,600,000 total Now here's where i'll run into a problem. Most Level 5 games only have data for Japan and none for other regions. However, Pofessor Layton has complete data and the trend shows Level 5 has the bulk of it's games sell in Japan. However, I will throw you a bone and match the Japanese sales for each game into the NTSC and PAL regions to be fair. Here's every original IP Level 5 has done on the PS2. Dark Cloud=80,000 in Japan x 3=240,000 total Now let's take a break to see that even as I was being VERY generous in the ghost sales I gave Level 5 games, all three of their console offerings combined couldn't break the sales of the original Fable. Level 5 PS2 games=2,100,000 against Fable's 2,600,000. Also remember that I am only counting Xbox figures for Fable. I'm completely leaving out sales for Fable: The Lost Chapters and Fable for the PC, because they are not available here. Now I know what will be said next. Level 5 is MUCH more popular now. That is very true. Level 5 is a top software developer and can sell games off that name brand alone...in Japan. There is no data suggesting Level 5 will see anywhere near as good sales overseas, and that brings me to my next example, Professor Layton. This was the star making game that put Level 5 on the map. Japanese sales 980,000. American sales 260,000. What makes White Knight so different that it'll buck these trends?
