Nah, just get the herbivore pig-like faces and enjoy the amazing ''lolololololololol'' singing sound effect. It's actually what it sounds like! o_o

You can get past that stage with Lv. 3 singing only, no problem.

 

 

 How the hell do you level up singing?

 

You have to change the mouth of your creature.  When you are in the creature editor, different parts for the social and attack stats.  Mouth = sing level, feet = dance level, hands = charm/strike level, etc.

 

To also help your befriending, it helps to isolate either one member of the opposite group plus have as many creatures in your group at a time.
