Pitchfork... those fuckers are so far up their own asses they're hit in the head by everything they eat. Sometimes they're right on but way too often they go into their reviews with an agenda.
The Unforgiven III is probably the weakest track on the album... and it's still an alright tune. It's certainly better than II and I'm not entirely sure what the connection is to the original is, outside of a few similar chord progressions and the presence of instruments besides the usual guitar/bass/drums.
They don't work in a cheesy chorus like Unforgiven II, though near the end of the song, "forgive me not" is said a few times. There's also a pretty kickass guitar solo right after that.
All Nightmare Long would be my pick for the best song on the album and if I thought there was a safe way to do so, I'd love to host it just so people could get a taste of the album.
