One thing I wonder, is if realistically doable, it could be possible for MS to issue a recall of products not to consumers but rather to retail outlets. Think about it, a store sends out a handful of consoles they haven't yet sold which MS refurbish and throw in the extra heatsink and return them to the store who then hands over another bunch.
Would that not be an efficient way to reduce the number of potentially iffy consoles reaching consumers' hands?
