A poster over at NeoGAF (take with a grain of salt) randomly posted that Backbone Entertainment has been slated to do a remake of Phantasy Star IV.
Stated highlights include:
- HD Graphics
- Full Voiceovers
- 1200 Microsoft Points
Would be amazing if true, and make my decade. Backbone is the same company that has done Capcom XBLA games 'Commando 3: Wolf of the Battlefiend' and '1942: Joint Strike' as well as work on Sega's PSP and PS2 collections that included ports of Phantasy Star II-IV and Golden Axe.
