Resistance 2 is definitely a huge improvement over the original. When compared to Gears of War 2 and Call of Duty: World at War's relatively minor improvements over Gears of War and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare respectively, I think reviewers are going to feel more inclined to praise Insomniac's innovation with the Resistance franchise to the point where we may see a distinct percentage of reviews who actually prefer it over the others.
