I know great free apps for the iPhone but not all of them work with the Touch. I suggest just browsing and trying out whatever catches your fancy. They are free after all, not to mention small and quick to download. If you are really lazy, I'm sure someone out in the interwebs has done a list for the Touch.
I give this thread a 9.7.
