No. What happened was that the 360 had a lot of street cred when it was released due to both Halo and the scarcity of the 360 at launch. Nintendo saw what this scarcity allowed Microsoft to do to generate cred on their console and used it to their advantage to generate hype for the Wii.
However, now that people have seen what the 360 was about and the fact that quite a few of its games (particularly more recent ones) including Halo3 (at least as far as the first person part of the game was concerned) failed to live up to the hype and since more and more people have the Wii and are capable of seeing its shortcomings in graphics and game library -- particularly 3rd part games which are not as good and will continue for the rest of this generation to be inferior to the PS3 and 360 versions in terms of the wow factor that they have the ability to generate due to the Wii's technological limitations; rather than just being able to hear about the Wii from coworkers and thinking that it is the best thing since buttered toast while being unable to see them for themselves in stores in order to see what it is really all about -- both the 360 and Wii are going to cool off considerably while the PS3 just gains more and more popularity which is going to take it over the top. The PS3 is going to have a beautiful comeback.
My most anticipated games: Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort. Cave Story Wiiware.
