'RROD' defect kept Microsoft from originally planned price cuts

360 was stuck between a rock and a hard place either way you look at it. If it launched a year later, it would have came out with the PS3, and they would at least be equal in sales. If it came out a year earlier, they would have have had RRoD.

Nothing could've been done about the situation.
