Yes, I have looked at some of the scientific data. There is some debate over whether the methodologies in the report were accurate.

But if you look at the data, the amount of rise in temperature worldwide over the last century is a little extreme to say it is just a normal deviation.  Its pretty much an entire degree Farenheit in just 60 years, and an entire degree Celsius in 150 years:

It's been more extreme in the past however.

No doubt the heating is abnormal, but abnormal doesn't mean human made.  I've yet to see a good reason for why the 1% to 33% or so of world wide CO2 we produce is cauing global warming when the 66%-99% the world creates isn't.

(The 33% vs 1% being whether or not you count water vapor.)

The methodologies they use are really suspect, the whole thing seems like either, a scam or just people being taught wrong in school.  So it's eitehr a scam or an unintentional one.

I'd care more if it wasn't for the fact that most of the stuff you can do to "stop" global warming is good for the country anyway.

I'm just worried that not enough money is going to how to legitamitly stop global warming.  IE, when we figure out we aren't causing it trying to stop it in a way that isn't conservation.

I know of a seaweed project to do it... and that's about it.
