If there's gonna be an update before HOME, I think it'd be more for Life With Playstation rather than screengrabbing. Sony seems to be actually promoting it.
Admittedly, screen grabbing would be much cooler to have. And hopefully it'll work with PS2 games too. As of now, we dont even get XMB with PS2 games, so I doubt it, but it would be pretty nice.
