And just to silence some of the fanboys in advance, I am by no means saying anything bad about the games that made the list. All I am saying is I think a lot of good Nintendo games were ruled out for superficial reasons and probably not given a fair chance.

If it doesn't matter much why are you freaking out? What Wii game other than Mario Galaxy should have appeared on this list? Critical and popular success don't always come together, the best rated movies don't always sell the most. Same with everything in life. |
Agreed. Not only that, this isn't the critics "best games of the year" award, it's the critics "best of show" award. Games with better graphpics tend to... show better (tend, mind you). There's nothing conspiratorial here, Sqrl.
