My library does stuff like that with the moveis. No videogame stuff though.
Of course to be fair my library system is extremely well funded and regarded as one of the top 10 in the nation... so for me it's more of a
"Well they already have the other stuff covered" type thing.

Also our computers are bound to desks. So those who are looking up porn... well people see you doing it.
Also i do borrow movies from my local libraries. Often because honestly they have movies i've never even seen or heard of, and you'd never find in any of the rental shops by me.
One of the Libraries by me has a great selection of subtitled foreign movies. Anything from smart ones and ones about WW2 to ones about a guy during fuedal japan who is exceuted for being a Christian, but then makes a deal with the devil to attack Japan with an army of zombies.
Though i mean... if the Library didn't rank so high in terms of having actual books i'd be pissed about it.
