Consoles are good for people who're too casual to learn how to play on the PC. =P
Seriously though, he has some valid points, but it looks kinda like he's completely missed the last few years. The current generation offers a remedy for the increased development costs (Wii), and lack of smaller cheap games (download services on all three).
