I get the impression that Albion is chock full of things to do, throughout. I love playing Oblivion, but I do spend a lot of time traveling to get to the next "event". That's not to say that Oblivion doesn't have a lot of dungeons/caves/etc. in the wilderness (>300), but a large portion of them are not attached to any quest... there's really no point in going into them all unless you're just a completist. The way Fable II is described, there will potentially be a point to exploring everything.
Sweet.
