Samsung's exec is a moron. You only need a 75GB Blu-ray Disc for resolutions up to 2160p. Resolutions higher needs 100GB to 150GB. Unless we triple the resolutions to 12k+ I don't see us needing more then the 200GB Blu-ray disc for a long time or when internet speeds are 10000 times what they are now.

What kind of player are you going to play that 75GB or 200GB Blu-ray disc on?  Furthermore what production lines are going to produce them?

The fact of the matter is with the rushing of Blu-ray to market and the incomplete specs outlined you will only see a max of 50GB Blu-ray discs and 1080p video.  Or are you going to force the consumer to buy a new player to play this imaginary disc?

Sorry but all these vaporware lab specs are just that....vaporware.  They will never see the light of day in a retail format without totally alienating whatever base Blu ray manages to grow.  I hate to throw in a crappy console analogy but people harp on MS for limiting devs by not including a HD through all SKU's but the BDA are guilty of the practically the same thing with Blu ray.
