What kind of player are you going to play that 75GB or 200GB Blu-ray disc on? Furthermore what production lines are going to produce them?
The fact of the matter is with the rushing of Blu-ray to market and the incomplete specs outlined you will only see a max of 50GB Blu-ray discs and 1080p video. Or are you going to force the consumer to buy a new player to play this imaginary disc?
Sorry but all these vaporware lab specs are just that....vaporware. They will never see the light of day in a retail format without totally alienating whatever base Blu ray manages to grow. I hate to throw in a crappy console analogy but people harp on MS for limiting devs by not including a HD through all SKU's but the BDA are guilty of the practically the same thing with Blu ray.
