Now McCain is beating the small government drum (which I hate), but at least he is more likely to stick to that mantra than most Republicans.

I was just giving you a hard time, but I do notice more libs mentioning race in general and I really don't understand the fascination with the level of melanin that a person has in their skin due to genetics. If progress is what we're after, why is race such a big deal on the left? Shouldn't they be the first to walk into a room and not count how many people of different flavors are there? We're all the same inside, so it shouldn't matter so much.

Most "libs" are Post-Marxists that have expanded the theory of class conflict to include race and gender as well as other distinctions. That is why race is so important to them. They have to continually remind everyone of the race conflict between white people and other races.
