The entry price for a 360, since they push xbox live so much and even charge $50 a year for it.....the entry price for me and many other gamers that the 360 is targeted at will always be AT LEAST $340 when we factor in Live and the Wi Fi adapter....this is whats holding the 360 back and why the PS3 is able to keep up, BD notwithstanding. I consider myself a pretty big gamer and I could give a rats ass about WiFi, and I am sure the causal gamers that the arcade is targeting, do not care about Live. The hard drive, however, is priced ****ing ridiculously and I care about that.

well, i dont really think Wi Fi is a "hardcore" appeal. Its an appeal to any houshould that doesnt have their 360 by their cable modem or computer. Thats a more important variable than being a hardcore gamer....the average family utilizes Wi Fi.

not sure if your post is sarcastic...but having a router to reach multiple computers or an in home office is insanely common in american homes.
