It's time to take a hint from Nintendo. Though only one true Mario game comes out every few years, games with Mario in them are in no short supply. It's the mascot that defines what Nintendo is and pervades everything the system does. Halo has been an undeniable success for Microsoft. Why not capitalize on it? I think more halo's would be a good idea, and adopt blu ray!!!!

Could work against them outside of the American FPS-loving crowd - especially Japan. Mario has much broader appeal than Master Chief.

They need multiple mascots, however, nothing wrong with Mastercheif leading the pack.
