I believe so. I was fine during that period. I only had a PS2 and there wasn't any other options of me playing the Xbox or the Gamecube at the time. I did however borrow the Gamecube and enjoyed it. But the PS2 last gen was my primary console. I was jealous at the fact the Xbox had so many FPS and the sports games always had better graphics than the PS2 counterpart. Other than that I wasn't angry and I wouldn't call myself a fanboy either.
Because I loved all those consoles equal.
