Bingo! Also, if you listen to left wing blogs, radio, etc, you will hear race brought up over and over. Class warfare and race warfare (by means of inciting jealosy) are some of the most common themes used by the left. Playing the race card happens all the freaking time on the left (Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, just to name a very few), and that only adds to the racial divide (I've not heard Obama do this, and I give him major props for that).

Even if you listen to right wing radio, they very rarely mention race, and if they do, it's to say that the color of a person's skin DOESN'T matter, everybody should be treated equally. When has Condi, Colin, Clarence Thomas, etc, EVER played the race card? Never. The majority of the right is willing to treat all races equally, the left brings up race to incite jealosy and division all the time.

Then, when an African American rises to a high place of power on the right, the "racially sensitive" left absolutely ROASTS them for doing so. The message? We're for you as long as you don't join the conservatives.

Instead of celebrating African American accomplishments, regardless of which side of the aisle they come from, many on the left deride, discredit, insult, and inject race into the discussion of these well accomplished individuals.

So, what have the republicans done recently? They've tried to move PAST the racial divides, while some on the left continually tries to rehash them for political purposes.
