I thought Microsoft was already making a good profit on all models even with this price drop with the new chips in production.
My guess is they lose on the Arcade and break even with everything else.
Either way they are lowering the price next year to. They want to sink Sony, so don't be fooled. They will undercut Sony as much as they can because they only want to compete with Nintendo.
It's just that simple.
