well I can say a lot of people overseas have stuck with the playstation since the 90s and am sure some (a minority but can add up to quite a bit) buy it cause of the brand name....
I have a friend who I sold my ps2 to, and I got a 360 a few months later, he plans to send me money to buy him a console (he doesn't work so hes saving up slowly lol)..I told him right now the 360 is much cheaper and has more games to choose from....but he doesn't care he just wants a ps3 (won't argue with him thats his choice its a great console anyways).....it seems he had no reason other than its a playstation and thats all hes had (hes had no history with the xboxs)...
so ya thats one of the reasons the 360 could be doing a lil weak in europe...could be a lot others...
