The 360 is not copying the PS3.  I'm pretty sure that it's the other way around.  Microsoft is trying to wrestle Sony's part of the market away from them by trying to do things similar.   

 

Sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of the two years it took sony to implement a clone of XBL for the PS3.
