Didn't the #1 death involve some snack-time?
Anyway, I'd say life in prison is good enough. Remember, people who harm childeren and end up in jail usually have no life there as the "normal criminals" usually have childs themselves and consider pedophiles, childrapists etc to be the most lowlife type of scum in the penitiairy. Wether it be a male or female prison.
Also I think that the amount of people released years after their initial punishment because new evidence showed them not guilty justifies abandonment of the death penalty.
